Wondering if anyone has used Plasi-Dip and how durable they have found it to be ? Got those chrome dress trims on some saddlebags and was thinking of using Plasi-Dip to blacken them and maybe even the buckles . Trying to avoid the hassle of removing them to have them anodised. Thanks fellas.

The pieces I did on mine are holding up, but I would avoid any piece that gets scuffed or rubbed on a regular basis, had it on the rear brake fluid cover and it lasted maybe a week. Cut bear claw is going on a month/2500 miles now...

I Plasti-dipped the rims on my Jeep then took it out to find some mud to bounce through. Power washed them off and it held up just fine.

I have plastidip plastidipped my bearclaw & rear frame covers. Been on 2 months & still looking good.

I've had the chrome panels where the rear peg mount covered in PlastiDip for 4+ years and they have held up just fine. Many other parts, too.

If you REALLY want it to stick - use their undercoat/primer. The rougher the surface yo cover the better it holds ime. On good shiny chrome it tends to come off quickish.

Has anyone tried it on the wheels yet? I'm thinking of painting mine, but not sure I'm going to like it afterwards. At least with the plasti-dip, if I dont I can just peel off?
