Service Manual - Standard, Classic & Touring

Someone mailed me a CD with the newer manual that includes the Touring. I don't know who it was, it just showed up in the mail, thank you. I have combined all of the files into one and OCR'ed the whole thing so it's searchable and I have updated the link in my signature to point only to the...

    In the bucket-Sturgis

I will be going but taking the long way to get there from Washington and will no be IN Sturgis, I'll be in Spearfish for a few days. I'll probably go to the hill climb and in to the rally for about 30 minutes, the rest of the time will be spent riding.

Hubs for rc wheels to fit the rocket iii

In. Sorta You've posted 4 times and just joined so I won't hold my breath... (random text added to get past the totally retarded 15 character count minimum in order to post. Did I mention that it's retarded?)

    I don't think it's a product, I think it's a do-it-yourself type thing.

    sticky caliper ?

I agree. Bad habit to get in to.

    sticky caliper ?

Clean out the whole caliper assembly with some brake cleaner and a stiff nylon brush (don't use a metal brush). Clean that pin off too and grease it up with a high-temp copper grease. Don't over do it.

    Contoured Rotors

Maybe he likes gooooooooooooold. The look of it... The schmell of it... The tashte of it... Maybe he likes gold so much he lost his genitalia in an unfortunate schmelting accident...

    sticky caliper ?

Do as I say not as I do always worked for me.

    sticky caliper ?

Pull the two retaining clips on the single pin on the rear, slide the pin out and they practically fall off. Manuals... who reads those?

    Contoured Rotors

I'll do that. I have no doubts that you've found the best with them. As much as I'd like to get them, I may focus more on a solution for the common man with the EBCs. If they outperform the Triumph rotors and are $120 less per rotor, that's a good thing for the masses. I may try them...

    Contoured Rotors

And how well do those cast iron rotors hold up to 8-9 months of rain and exposure to salt water?

    Contoured Rotors

I'm already past the minimum serviceable spec on my front and rear stock rotors. I was looking at replacing them and just as I thought, Triumph wants an arm and leg for them. $290.35 each. for the fronts and $233.88 for the rear. Well screw that... EBC has contoured rotors that fit the...

    TPS Redux

I'll always give credit where credit is due. The only reason I'm going the washer route is that it's the perfect excuse to need to buy a caliper. I've been meaning to buy one for awhile and never had the justification for it. Now if it means I could save $100 every few months, well then...

    PCIII Owner/User Help

I don't know much about the PCIII but aren't they tune specific? So when you had it initially mapped out, it was done with whatever tune was in your ECU. If you take it in to the dealer for service and they load a different tune, whatever the PCIII is doing no longer matches. I'm just...
