X-Country And Back

I'm still working as well and took vacation time for this, start planning and things will fall into place. Figure out your route and befote you know it you're on the bike heading out.

Was good to meet you Mike! Proving that the new rocket is a coast to coast bike. @Nashvegas it will make it 500 milesno trailer needed. Protonhound is living proof.
Haha! but somehow I’m the one averaging 14,000 miles a year on my bike. A 1,000 mile round-trip on the interstate holds absolutely zero interest to me unless the destination has some really good motorcycle riding. If that’s the case, the dog and I really enjoy the big diesel Benz SUV. Especially, when I have to turn the wipers on high.

I would normally totally agree with you but this is solely about making that round trip and fun roads be dammed .! Those long streches of highway can get monotonous depending on area but at least I'll have one more thing to cross off my bucket list.

Am finally able to ditch the rain gear for the first time since leaving MA now in TX heading through NM to Durango CO for the night.
Do the million dollar highway through Silverton to Ouray. Rt. 550 Old pic of me chillin' by a river in Silverton.
