Greetings all,

I found an '05 rocket3 on Ebay down in Tennessee that just called out for a new home.
I'd been looking for a new ride but not really decided on just what exactly. I knew what it WASN'T going to be... I really wanted to travel down to Chattanooga and ride it home but weather wasn't cooperating. Well, now she sits here because of yet another snow storm :(
I had a Bonnie back in the "Lucas Time" and had an affection for it anyway.
I've been riding an 1100 shadow for a few years, really liked the ride. First ride I didn't have to change the seat to get more than 100 miles. It was just feeling a little underpowered for my touring penchant. Looked at the Thunderbird, it's an awesome bike but I just don't fit on it. The Rocket is a great fit. The 2300cc's just add to the fun.
Looking forward to the sun coming out. It is March after all, and cruising the Rockies. Glacier National Park would be awesome on the Rocket. I'd like to ride around Kentucky and Tennessee soon as well. It looked like a great adventure from the truck window

Welcome from a beautiful day in Florida. You will love the beast and this site.
From your post, you may want to do a little investigation on the long haul seats the other captions on this site use. :)

Welcome to the site from Molino, FL and currently Afghanistan. I hope you get some long riding time in soon as Spring is just around the corner.

I'll be (unfortunately driving...not riding) going thru your state around the 9th thru the 10th of July (Mt. Rushmore and Devil's Tower before heading into MT for the Little Bighorn Monument thing).

Ride safe,

Dennis

Most everyone says: I went through Wyoming once, it was at night...
Through most of it, that it probably a good thing.
I'm a Montanan in Wyoming cause it got too crowded.
Be careful out there! (57190)

welcome to Rocket ownership AND the site.
You might want to check out the Rockets Across America thread,
it's happening in Maggie Valley N.C. again this year,
and might be something you're interested in.
