Greetings all,
I found an '05 rocket3 on Ebay down in Tennessee that just called out for a new home.
I'd been looking for a new ride but not really decided on just what exactly. I knew what it WASN'T going to be... I really wanted to travel down to Chattanooga and ride it home but weather wasn't cooperating. Well, now she sits here because of yet another snow storm
I had a Bonnie back in the "Lucas Time" and had an affection for it anyway.
I've been riding an 1100 shadow for a few years, really liked the ride. First ride I didn't have to change the seat to get more than 100 miles. It was just feeling a little underpowered for my touring penchant. Looked at the Thunderbird, it's an awesome bike but I just don't fit on it. The Rocket is a great fit. The 2300cc's just add to the fun.
Looking forward to the sun coming out. It is March after all, and cruising the Rockies. Glacier National Park would be awesome on the Rocket. I'd like to ride around Kentucky and Tennessee soon as well. It looked like a great adventure from the truck window
