I was on the phone with the dealer . Found two different clutch cable. I have a 06 that I installed risers on. While I am at it I want to install the longer cable . The two part numbers I have are
T2043560 Not Classic
T2043583 Classic
Thanks

You can simply reroute the standard cable (from front of triple tree to back of triple tree) with risers alone. If you go with the longer bars too you'll need longer cables.

I have a Classic with Rivco Risers. When I originally installed the risers, I had to reroute the cables and they were still a bit too tight. I traded bars with Bishop, my Classic or his standards and the cable fit is not perfect.

I finaly found out which bike I have. Called the dealer in Kansas City. He just asked if it were a solid ot two tone . The latter being a Classic.Mine is a solid color . I oprdered the classic cable .

Russ, Did you get a look at the clutch parts I posted on your other thread? If so which lifter piece do you have? It sounds to me like you have a early model 06. Look at the sticker on the left frame pipe in front and check the build date.

Yes I did look at your pictures. And yes I believe it is a early 06. I have the needle bearings.

You should think about updating it then it a little more money as you have to buy a new pressure plate lifter piece and roller bearing for the pressure plate. If not maybe next time you have to go in it The silver engine are left over 05 I believe they also put them in the Rockt Tourer model which came with all the goodies windshield, floor boards, leather bags and lower I believe.
