Ok so I have downloaded a few maps to the ECU so far, no problems.... I put a 7% speedo correction on all of them and it worked great, speedo read slightly lower than the GPS (which works for me)...

Now, this weekend I did a 'reset adaptives' and downloaded a tune again - my speedo is back to the stock error.... I pulled the tune back up off the bike and it shows 7% correction- but the speedo is wrong... also the fuel trim settings pulled back off of the bike were all zeros - that was NOT what was in the tune I downloaded.

Long story short, I have tried several more downloads to the ECU and it doesn't seem to matter whether I have 7% speedo correction in there or not, the speedo is NOT changing from stock - which annoys the hell out of me.

HELP! Please! Thanks, John.

It is possible to corrupt a map, especially when loading it to the ECU. Make sure the bike's battery is fully charged.

I have seen TuneECU start acting odd from time to time. It will fill cells in tables with 0 values, or alter other settings.

Restart the laptop, open the map you want to load (with the correct speedo changes). And load it again. Sometimes this helps.

Appreciate the advice P-T, not sure what was going on, but a laptop reboot, several days and a battery charge later, things appear to be working just fine again!:D
