Not sure what this blank spot (long oval that says triumph on it) on the right controls is for. I'm thinking of adding driving lights and wondering if there is some sort of triumph switch I could put there.

These are the same hand controls as the America and Speedmaster. That spot is for the headlight switch. But since the headlight is required to be on at all times in most countries the switch was eliminated, replaced with that plug.

I put a switch in that spot for my fog lights. Got the switch from Eastern Beaver, it fits perfectly inside the housing. I will post pics later.

Here is the switch.

Here it is on EB site.

I had to drill a hole and find a piece of black plastic to fill in the rest of the space but it fit perfectly inside the housing. I left out the spacer that the factory had in there. I could probably put 2 there but I dont need 2 at the moment.

Be careful not to loose the starter button spring when doing this.

Blank Spot

The Blank Spot on the hand grip is for the Touring Model. There is an information switch that scrolls through different information on the gas tank computer. Such as miles till empty, trip A, Trip B etc.

Thanks Nolton. That's exactly what I wanted to do. I'll order my switch today.

Let me know if you need me to take some pics of the inside of the housing.
Start looking for some plastic to shape into the remaining space. I used hot glue so that I could easily remove it for another switch. If you dont plan to do 2 use some really good glue. Hot glue will only hold for a little while.
