Now I know exactly what it is. Guzzi LeMans 4 (or 1000) - The front wheel was a real disaster. And it had tiny front discs. Thankfully it was short lived.

I had one and it was a great bike, the cast iron discs and 16" wheel worked great at all speeds for me! I had a red and white 34 liter endurance race modified stock tank on mine - BEAUTIFUL.

The rear exhaust cans sounded sweet but rusted out like cheese though.

Mate - I have road tested just about every large block Guzzi that has existed. I actually ran in a load of press bikes at one stage. And (imo) compared to it's predecessor and successors that small wheel did NOT do it any real favours. I remember especially it dropped into road ruts and holes.

IIRC there was even a factory endorsed 18" front upgrade kit. I think you kept the original discs and forks legs.

Ah yes - 20th century Italian exhausts. If you think Guzzis were bad ..............................
