What are Day dreams.............

That daydreaming can be a problem. My solution: I retired the day after I bought the Rocket.

And there lies the answer ;) I did a kind of similar thing when I was 19 or 20 years old.. bought a 900cc XLH Sportster and just never went back to my job. Could not stay off that bike , f#ckin thing was a dangerous under braked poorly handling under powered tractor, in hindsight ... but I just loved the f#ckin thing.

............you know when your looking out from your place of work , it's a glorious Spring day with temps warm enough to ride in a tshirt ( not that im condoning not wearing the correct safety gear ) , in your field of view sits your bike , gleaming and looking like it's doing 100mph just sitting there , your tempted to just throw a leg over, kick her in the gutts and just follow the front wheel , taking any road/route at a whim , destination not important................ One month and 3 Days till RDU
I get this. I've done (at the risk of abuse) 700km this year on mine..I saw it this morning in the shed for the first time in a month. I had brief thoughts of 'what's the point in having this bike when I don't ride it". But its the daydream of getting on it and heading off, in my case, northwest somewhere. I just want to get on some open road and ride the bloody thing. Doesn't much matter where as long as there's no traffic and space to think. So I won't sell it yet, I'll just keep letting it decompose until I finally get on it.

After 2 weeks on this drilling rig, I finally get to go home today. I'm dreaming of riding tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that, and the one after that, then the one after, and...
