- Sportster S (looking to get a Rocket 3)
I've been riding motorcycles for 42 years now. The Rocket is my 16th bike. After just 2 days of ownership I can say, I've never felt so at home on a bike. The thing is absolutely amazing!! 'All' of my previous bikes were heavily compromised: 24 years on big sports bikes with your arse in the air and weight on your wrists, to 18 years on bone shaking noisy Harleys. The R3 GT blows them all away. The power, the torque, the comfort and the handling, which is almost telepathic, as are all the overtakes!!
When I use to see add's and facebook posts with bikers saying how they need to 'get on their motorcycle and hit the open road to clear their head', I understood it, but never really got it. My sports bike days were full of adrenalin, racing anyone and any thing on 2, 3 or 4 wheels; then spending days worrying about what may come through the letterbox!. The Harley are, in the main, and this is coming from a long term owner' , noisy shiny, vibrating, massively over priced poser rides. The R3 does everything so well, without having to shout about it. I'm totally in love with this bike!
