Werkes Exhaust on UK bike ?

Absolutely, big brother gets one step closer. It seems like the EU regulations are trying to stop you doing anything to the ECU/Exhaust for emission reasons. It won't be long before they introduce emissions testing for bikes on the annual MOT test in the UK 😟 - hopefully, it'll be only for Euro5+ compliant bikes !
Most Gov'ts are working toward outlawing internal combustion altogether.

This is true, however the ICE is not dead yet. Yamaha (did you know that Yamaha are Toyota's engineering partner !) still own the rights to the 4Ltr V8 they developed at the request of Toyota for the Lexus sports car range, and they have been developing it to run on hydrogen - successfully! On top of that, Mazda still own the rights to rotary engine, and have been developing that into a very efficient single-rotor generator for use in a hybrid motor ? ICE's have a long way to go yet - but maybe not powered by petrol/gasoline 😮

ICE is the less-efficient method for using hydrogen as a fuel, which isn't even an energy source but must be "cracked" from other molecules, typically hydrocarbons (because it loves to bond). Never mind the storage, transport, and embrittlement issues.

Well, thanks for that - but they wouldn't be working on it if it wasn't a viable proposition ? (Kawasaki have made one !)

Furthermore, in the UK they are busy busy replacing all the Gas Mains Pipework for these enormous yellow plastic pipes. I queried one of the installers about it, and was told that when natural gas is discontinued - this pipework will carry the higher pressure Hydrogen, presumable to each home ? The UK's biggest boiler manufacturer (Worcester Bosch) already have boilers that will run on hydrogen 😮 I also always thought it strange there were only two Hydrogen refueling stations in London (Toyota Mirai is Hydrogen fuel cell) but nowhere else, and no plans to build any ! - is it that's because they plan to have a Hydrogen supply in every home ?

Has any UK Storm owners gone with an after market exhaust other than Zard, who I believe have the second o2 sensor on? My local uk dealer has strongly advised changing out the standard exhaust for an aftermarket due to the second sensor…

The bike is a bit too quiet for me, especially when filtering, so I’d like a bit more noise, but don’t like the looks of the Zard…

There are O2 emulators out there that might work. For a post-cat sensor, you just need one that has the correct resistance. You should be able to read that value with an OBD scanner.

I would just weld in a second bung for the second 02 sensor.
