This happened in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
The Horse Shelter

It seems a hobby farmer on the city's outskirts sought council permission to erect a Horse Shelter.

Permission was denied,leading to a typical protracted one sided negotiation with Council.

Exasperated the property owner wrote "I suppose you wouldn't even allow me to put a table and chairs out there...".

"Of course a table and chairs are permissible" replied council.

Easily explained...the man thought he was a politician...bastards will steal anything and think they can get away with it . Hell we won't even allow them to gather in one of the States in these here United States...had to corral them in the "District of Columbia"...a "state" that doesn't have a star on the flag but has one of the highest crime rates in the country. Thank God it's only a tiny piece of this country...if it was any bigger we couldn't afford it
