The bearclaw should go back on with the ramair fitted...if you use the pods then you will need to cut the bearclaw away for the filters to fit....both do the same job.

NOT necessarily, depends on the pods. I have been running the 2780s for years with my Bearclaw completely intact and all I have to do when I lift the tank or put it back down is just pull outwards ever so slightly to get it past the #3 filter.

Hi I am new to R3 owners and am hoping i can get some guidance with this project, I have :
2005 Rocket, power commander, Jardine pipes. I just picked up 4 of the 5 K&N filters from a salvage missing the crankcase vent. Can anybody confirm a K&N part number? I really would appreciate any advice on relocation of air sensor and where to get or how to fabricate any clamps, hardware, tools that will help me get my need for performance satisfied. Pictures? I love them.

My setup...the air intake sensor is it the k&n filter and just rests between 1 & 2 throttle bodies...seems to work fine.
