I've got a Dodge Challenger SRT8 (gloss black, with red stripes) so I was kind of settled on a gloss black bike with red stripes, but it seems the stripes may not be available in the US.
There is a gloss black with red stripes 2014 Roadster sitting at Castle Powersports on Galatin Pike north of Nashville, TN. I saw it on Saturday. They also had the mat black, but it was sold and having accessories installed.
El Toro Rosso; Heh, I'll keep that in mind, thanks! Worst case I'll tip my dealership off to that one
Are you sure it's a '14, though? I haven't seen any announcements from Triumph on the new model year; if it is indeed a new MY, where can I find more info on them? Google is notably absent in search results for this...
moklodge; Hehehe, close, but not quite. I do work for Big Oil, though, because let's face it, why else would a Norwegian move to Texas. I miss conditions like your picture shows
Everyone; thank you for the warm welcome! I'm looking forward to delving into the forums to see what y'all have done to your Rockets. I've already lusted over some of the pictures (my oh my it looks good all blacked out), so tonight'll be a good night.

Well, I'm not a Triumph employee, so I can't confirm that it was a 2014 from first hand personal knowledge. However, the dealer said that both of the new Roadsters they had were 2014's. I drove over there specifically to see them, and I ended up buying a Triumph armored jacket that was on clearance.
You should be able to find Castle Powersports by googling them. I think their web site is at www.castlepowersports.com.
If I were you I would look around and get the color that you want. Either way you won't regret getting a Rocket.
I love mine and it's the first bike I ever had that kept me from looking for another one.
