I bought a custom made windscreen for my R3 ,100mm higher and 50 mm wider(ok,4"x2" for the metrically challenged mob:D ) than stock.

Works fine except for the wind which sometimes lifts up the full face vizor on my helmet at above 120kph.
Im thinking that if I had a vent it would help equalise the air presssure behind the screen.
Will a vent help keep my vizor down and how do you make one?

I also finally got my back ordered flyscreen last week and what a great little device it is,although its hard to see the $$$ value in it.:pullhairout:

Like a slot in the screen?? if you're brave, an angle grinder to make the cut & a file to clean the edge?? who knows where & what size you'd need tho..:eek3:

Hey ,Zim, you tried changing the screen to differing angles? I dont get the problem on my Windvest screen, maybe because the wind sails in thru the bottom over the top of the headlights a bit ?

How do you do this on the stock mounts? Mine only moves up/down.

Thanks for the link, took me a while to work out what I was looking at until I put my goggles on;).
I was hoping to try something smaller and closeable if need be and if that dont work ,Ill go bigger.
Ive seen some cut about the shape/size of a matchbox with a little bonnet scoop on it

Im not brave:D Ill probably get the same guy who made it ,to do the cutting. He may even have an idea on the best shape and size.

Sorry iwas thinking of the Windvest mounting system which allows for that.I didnt realise you cant tilt the screen back and forth on the standard screen.
