Just installed a RamAir airfilter on my Rocket Classic and have to say it really woke it up, feels peppery and more responsive than before !!! I also picked up a set of Jardines exhaust from a fellow forum member and can not wait till the weekend to install those !!! Then comes the challenge of finding the right tune , any recommendations ???

I have a question... If I was to run a power commander v would I still need to de restrict my ecu or would the pcv just take care of it?

The PC V is a piggy back unit that can fool the ecu and provide a different fuel map . I actually prefer TuneECU or TuneBoy as you can control alot more than just fueling and you don't use a piggy back unit. I have in the past on other Triumphs had the bike Dyno Tuned with Power Commander then read the offsets from the PC to my laptop , wrote the offsets to the ECU and removed the Power Commander

I understand that you can do more with tune ecu and tune boy, but the tuner i am gonna use specializes in PCV, i just want to know if there is anything I need to do on my ecu if using PCV. Maybe they can do what you were talking about moving the info from pc to ecu, but just incase not I wanted to know if I needed to derestrict my ecu while using PCV or will it even matter? I am very dumb in this area, any help would be appreciated

I also have a PCV that is not in use right now, and were I you, I would do my best to find a tuner that knows Tune ECU.
Just my two cents worth , , ,

Well... They didn't even know if they could get a good synonym bc it's a trike... Is there a downloadable tune for tune ecu for ram air/ carpenter pipes that I could just do myself?

@Big Head,
Many canned tunes are out there.
You need to define the detail status of your engine, intake and exhaust.
Someone will match you up with a tune for sure.
I have none saved as I use a guru tuner with dyno and Tune ECU.
