I'm doing the Rivco license plate relocation bracket. (I don't have the instructions, made a trade on the Pay it forward) All seems simple enough except that I'm not sure where to unplug the wiring to get the original bracket off the bike. I wanted to ask for a reply before I cut/ splice the wires.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

PUG

Follow the leads to the front of the mudgaurd , connectors are up there some where , it all un clips , no cutting needed

What I did was remove the bulb then the light socket by twisting it
then diconnect the cable cut the small ty-rap and get the cable out one by one (they don't come out side by side )of the tube still attache to the licence plate holder
Do the other side and then remove the signal light harm
make the switch with the rivco licence plate relocator and do the opposite to reassamble the hole thing
This way you dont have to disconecte the arness on the right side
Any way I dont think the arness connector at the end will go trought the hole of the signal light harm and so on
A lot easyer my way you do every thing at the back and you won't tuch the cable underneath the fender

You can get the instructions on the Rivco website.

Hi All,

First post from me! Here's mine, recently with the Rivco relocation. Also had panniers on at the time before trip to France couple of weeks ago ...where the weather wasn't so crap!!

Panniers are attached with Easy brackets which are bleeding great, got bags sent from States...company called Leatherneck Jim!!!!!!!!
