Dropped the bike the other night. Bumped the turn signal out of position. I thought I could back out the bolt, get it lined up square and put it back in. But the bolt just turns and turns and turns. Will not back out.

If not for the thin metal sleeve that was once tubular I think, that is bent now (bottom picture) I could just force it back in. But I can't. Got to figure out a way to get that bolt to back out, but I'm stuck. Any ideas would be appreciated!

It's actually not a thin metal sleeve. I just figured out its a stiff rubber/plastic sleeve. Going to try to trim it away with t razor blade.

Somewhere on this site i read that another gen2 owner went thru the same trouble.....He fixed it and had all the steps to disassemble the back light assmbly....Hopefully you can search it???

I found it Sparky. Looks like a pain in the rear end. i will do it if I have to though. I'll try everything else first.

Wait. I wonder if I could use a cheap t-handle, glue it in the hex head and pull while turning. if it ruined the tool or the bolt it'd still be worth it. Save me from the dremel method. @wunderkind write up made it sound like the threadlock was pretty stout though. Might not work.
