Turn Signal/Indicator Weirdness

Picked up my new R3GT the other day and over the course of the last couple days of riding the turn signals/indicators have taken turns going out with the associated warning lights and such showing up on the display. Started with the right rear and worked it's way all around to the right front in order. One would go out then later would come back on and then the next one would go out and then a while later come back on, and so on and so on. All four indicators did this and they all seem to be working now. Is this a normal "break in" thing or is something wonky with the system?

Yes, happened to mine driving it home. All four quadrants were affected , one at a time. Now and then. Something about a daytime running lights delta between models. If appeared to be fixed with a software patch at the dealer. (BTW - Really took away from the taking the new bike home experience). One would imagine they would send out a service bulletin to prevent further warranty visits.
