I've just recently purchased a set of jardines and a "tune-edit" key. I've been to the tuneboy site and perused the table for the current R3 tunes for the KEIHIN processor, and I believe that the correct tune for my app is #20054. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I should also add that I''m still running the stock air filter, not that I'm opposed to the K&N, I just don't think I'm ready for the uni-pod filters with their potential for flare-up.

1Fast,

20054 is the Triumph "party line" tune for non-stock mufflers. If you want to go with stock Triumph tunes, I would go with 20055. It is the least restrictive in terms of power limiters and is considered by many in this forum, including myself, as the "best" Triumph tune. In terms of the underseat K&N, someone posted dyno runs on this sometime ago... K&N added 3RWHP and removal of the underseat air scoop added 1RWHP. The 20050_1,_2,_3 are the Tuneboy tunes developed by Wayne on a dyno in Oz.... He does not have a tune for Jardines with underseat stock/K&N filters. I would start with 20050_2 and go to a dyno shop that understands Tuneboy and develop one for the Jardines. I am seriously considering Jardines while keeping the intake as underseat K&Ns. So I might be doing this myself sometime in the near future....

i've got the k&n and jardines. search some of the old threads and you'll find that you'll burn too lean with the jardines and any triumph tune. i pulled my plugs and they were definitely too white and i'm at 7500 feet above sea level, so you would think that would richen it some. i also switched to wayne's tunes. both seemed to work well and changed the color on the plugs. do yourself a favor and search the site. these guys have given a ton of great info.
