Ok after much advice from here I need to try Tuneboy to stop the backfiring with the Jardines, my local shop will sell me a PC3 and set it up on the Dyno for £410 but cant guarantee stopping the popping, hey that rhymes.
So is there a UK member out there that has the Tuneboy and the knowhow to help me? I will pay of course, I love the system but need to stop the racket on the over run.
Steve, as far as I'm aware you will still need to purchase tuneboy yourself, to get the cable & the key (unlock code) from Tuneboy, as each cable is locked to the bikes individual ecu - not interchangeable from bike to bike.
Thanks Tom thats not an option then, so there are no workshops that can do it either then without buying it, I dont have a laptop either, how much is Tuneboy to buy?
Ive got PC111 on mine and your tuners right because you wont stop the popping it gets a bit better but dosnt stop.I also had mine dyno ed by a tuner whose unit is at mallory park.He does all the race bikes at mallory and was kinda taking the piss when i took mine in.He wasnt when i left.In fact he was quite impressed. He reconned it was trying to break the straps off his dyno.
Thanks for that Step, I have ordered a PC3 today with the Jardine map installed, £269, I will see how it goes and I can still get a custom map on the Dyno later.
