Hi everybody, I've searched and haven't yet found the answer to a couple questions. Please forgive me if I've missed them.

1) I have tuneboy. Does this mean my ride will be immune from the idle/stalling issue?

2) My bike is part of the recall. Should I take it in for the re-map?..even though I have TB?
(It has stalled only once).

Thanks for all the help.

Hi

The TuneBoy tunes based on 20145 all have the stalling fix in them, it does not matter if your dealer installs the tune or you do with the TuneEdit software.
If you are using a tune that is based on 20050 I would not worry about the update unless you start to have stalling problems.

If you want to make 100% sure that the stalling problem never comes to you then do the following.
Download the latest TuneEdit (V3.4.2).
Open your tune then go into the tune constants page.
Remove the tick from the "O2 sensor fitted" and click "Save".
Download this to the bike.
Now unplug the O2 sensor and cable tie the plug out of the way.
This will stop the ECU going into closed loop and it can never learn itself into the stalling problem.
