Hi all took my bike 2006 classic 42,000 km in to my local dealer in Australia 300km from my home to get tune boy put in and dyno, when he came back from his test ride he said he thought that the gear box was not so good. He put in a warranty claim I rode the bike home 300km and then a 700 km ride on the weekend should have put tuneboy in two years ago when i bought the bike it ran so good smooth responsive no locks in any gears . He rang me and told me to get my bike in to him asap as Triumph were going to help they would supply the big upgrade kit and 2/3rd of the labor. Dropped it of to him on Monday picked it up on the Saturday morning done . I was told that it was not far from flying apart what a huge difference it made. I got him to put a new rear tyre on while he had it could only get a Bridgestone 240/55/16 86 v [ was using ME880] so far done about 1000k on the tyre and think it,s not bad according to my GPS it has dropped my engine rpm at 120 kph by about 300 rpm about 2700rpm my speedo is now out by about 5kph could be a good thing. seems to ride a bit smoother could just be me or the tranny upgrade but slightly taller 5mm sidewall could help absorb the bumps. seems to handle OK single and two up. Roads are dry .
