My honest opinion...NO...butt fugly. Keep the simple original design. It's the best one.

Every one has there option but I really think when it’s all painted and the trunk it will all blend together and look good but we will see

I did a few changes , I think it flows better Nd I marked what part is orange and what parts are black

Now I painted styrofoam black just to give some better idea.

The indent on the side panel is WAAAYYY too deep - make it subtle, a couple of mm not cm. That should allow the panel to be much thinner and closer to the bike.

This pannel is already closer to bike then the original side cover,
And right now because of the thickness of the styrofoam, can’t make it too thin because it will be to weak this just gives me basic measurements and visual what it will look like, when it’s done in metal will be thinner.

It's really kinda growing on me. The styrofoam painted black makes it easier to visualize. Might look pretty cool.

Yeah my friend thought I was crazy he liked the old side cover the best but loved the trunk,
But he came over and seen the side cover and said holly **** that’s going to look cool done in metal and painted to match bike,
Now he can’t wait to see it finished
Hopefully the metal guy I found can do it this winter.

Should I keep the back rack on?
Or leave it off and design some rack on top of trunk that could be taken off?
