Tranny issue??or just me

I probably wouldn't be worried about it, but after reading about circlips moving and gears locking up makes me think I should be cautious.

Honestly I wouldn’t worry about it. I have a 14 R3R and a 17 R3T and from my personal experience I find both Transmissions are different, feel and sound. The way I look at it is the information I’ve gained from others on this forum with respect to the issues they have encountered helps me understand the nuances of these unique machines. I also think we need to focus on how they recovered from the lockup and remember that in the hopefully unlikely event that we encounter the same issue.
