There is a fine line in getting the free play of the clutch adjustment set properly so things shift smoothly. Popping it into 1st right after you pull the clutch, as mentioned earlier, in is a trick I learned early on. Good advice. I have found that since I switched my clutch cable out to a Barnett cable, after doing the my riser install, everything just works better. I don't know why other than the cables lined, but it just does.
