You can. There is an Exedra in stock size but sadly not an Exedra Max. I've tried the Exedra front and found it worked fine but lasted even less time than a Metz - mainly because the tread is almost non existent from new in the spot where you need the most. Butt ugly too. Avon goes real well on the front and I've heard the Dunlop is good too.
There's been so much written about the Bridgestone rear (with Avon front) and the positive effect of the 55 profile I'm surprised you haven't seen it. Do a bit of a search and you'll find a lot of material.
FWIW - I also run the Excedra Max rear with a 140/75R17 Avon Cobra on the front.
My speedo is EXACTLY on with the GPS and with radar. @jthree If you have a Roadster, I would not use a 130 one front as it reduces your lean angle too much and the left side peg rail can and shall strike pavement in a tight turn. Don't ask how I know this.
I remember distinctly that when ABS was first offered, whatever the model was, it was optional - as an upgrade -so, I'm pretty certain there are some roadsters out that are not equipped with ABS.
