Third key for alarm system

Well here it is, I've only had my 2014 R3R for 8 hours and I have my first question....bike related. When the dealer gave me the keys there were three of them. Two are ignition keys with a black plastic, triumph logo on one end and a third short flat key. The dealer told me it was a spare ignition key that can be put into my wallet or whatever.

I was looking through the owners manual and the book refers to the key as a "third key for alarm system" other than that I can't seem to find any information with respect to an alarm system anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas?

I think I may have figured it out, that key may fit into a fob if a security system is installed. Just a guess.

Its an ignition key, as the dealer said you can keep it in your wallett if needed

The third key can be attached to the alarm fob, that's why its just the metal part.

The datatool alarm instruction books shows how it's attached,
