2004 Rocket 3
I decided to post it here as a future memoir for the members present and these to come of what it takes to have a Rocket brought back to full operational life.
This bike has been damaged and neglected for a couple of years in the north of France. Just acquired a new tank and starting off with stuff I want/need to change to make it my own.

Had dozens of bikes in the past. T7 World Raid, r80gs, r1100rt, r1100gs now. This three cylinder conundrum is really something else :)

just noticed that you have 2004 standard
and you posted on the rocket III touring forum
don't know if it makes a lot of difference
might want to choose another thread

True that Turbo but is there a STANDARD forum? If yes i apologise for creating this post here - is there a possibility to move a thread or point a place more appropriate?

I took a look at the forums and doesn't look like a good forum to post (should have done that b4 i posted.
the only thing that i see is the forum (general tech talk)
i guess if some one complains then have them find the correct forum
