I think they should have some type of insurance cover like all other road users.

That's why I stick to the dirt on my Mt bike,

I have a friend who has been trying to get me to buy a road bike for years, I won't do do it.

If I die on the road I'll be dressed in motorcycle gear, not spandex. ;)
Thought it would be in ur birthday suit or ur thong:roll:

According to the text under the video the motorcyclist touched a peg which bounced his bike out of the his lean. Then he panicked and fixated on the cyclist.

All in all, it was definitely a sucky situation. I try not to hate on cyclists. They're also entitled to use the roads, however I really wish they had police paying as close attention to them as the cops do to us. There was a big hullabaloo here in Denver because the police started ticketing cyclists for not properly stopping at a particular intersection. Lots of backlash and the police let up (but didn't completely stop). Wish there was more of that.
Bad riding skills. But, on the subject of bicyclists, they think they own the road. Most of 'em are doctors or lawyers, or other people who don't sully themselves with physical labor, who can afford a $10,000+ bicycle, and another few thousand in overpriced spandex. A lawsuit won't put humpty dumpty back together again. They are too stupid to know that. They should stay off the roads that were made for motorized traffic. Willie Nelson was wrong, mamas should encourage their babies to be Cowboys, and not doctors or lawyers and such. At least Cowboys have brains enough to drive big trucks.

looked like he picked up a bowling spare.
i have a friend that has pick off a few last time he got jail time.

There is no way that is anyone's fault but the motorcyclist. Guy on the push bike was on the white line, almost in the dirt. Motorcyclist just sat up and took his eyes off the corner, looked at the bicycles and ran straight into them. Realise he wasn't, (probably) but looks like he was trying to hit them. Can't even say he was just buzzing them and misjudged it. Cyclists can be annoying and put themselves in danger, but not this time.

It's weird that you see all these low speed Curve crashes!! It's like they keep on leaning and forget to steer or counter steer!! Either way it looks like they are slow motion!? Maybe I'm wrong?

Going where you’re looking instead of looking where you want to go it is as simple as that, the bikes were doing nothing wrong in fact as Richard pointed out they were way over in the lane which shows me they are experienced riders.
Biker came round the slight curve saw the bikes and went straight for them, remember the two things you never do
1-Fry bacon naked
2-Use the handlebars to steer at speeds over 10-12mph

Frying sausages naked is also something to avoid.

Meh, just takes a good splatter screen (I mean who really wants to clean all that grease off the stove anyway). Some mornings one simply can't be bothered to put on clothes.

Just remember to keep the windows shut unless you're fortunate enough to live out in the boonies.
