Does it also mean that you cannot clear engine codes, or reset the TPS, or balance the throttle bodies, or check the fan switch, or any of the other regular maintenance stuff? If so, then you will be locked in to getting all of your service done at an authorised Triumph service centre, which is not only a pain (and expensive), but could be very inconvenient if you are on a trip and a thousand miles from the nearest dealer.

If so It'd kill any thoughts of a Trophy - I can get Guzzis reset for nowt. That said - if they block non-triumph but professional service agents they're in breech of EU law. I know other marques implement ways of reseting codes and TPS etc by using a combination of switches (clutch/indicator) . What can you do on the Curry Burner btw?.
