Welcome aboard Terry.
Glad to have you with us.
Nothing from Triumph,
but I believe dakota digital has something that will work.
What color?
welcome from Oklahoma, U.S.S.A.
Thanks for the help.
I bought a Blue one from Pete's cycles in MD.
Taking the train down from CT and riding it back next week.
I have a feeling I will be taking the long route back....

I am in MA just over the CT line (Douglas), what town are you in? Like you, I was missing the tach big time when I got my R3T. Now. after riding for a while. I am OK without it. First bike I ever owned without a tach. There are not really many tach options for the R3T. Certainly, nothing from Triumph. Welcome to the Forum.
With adding a gear position indicator (GiPro) on my standard, I seldom even look at the tach anymore unless I'm drag racing it. Typically I only shift twice too ... 1st to 3rd and 3rd to 5th. With a little time, I doubt you'll even miss it.
After reading everyone's views on a tach, I think I am going to try it without for a bit.
I like the idea of a gear indicator. I have a 02 America now and I am always reaching for another gear when I am already in 5th. I don't think I will be needing much more than 5th with this new bike.
I pick it up this Thursday in MD and ride it back to CT. Does any one have a suggestions on what octane I should run on a bone stock Rocket 3 Touring?
Triumph must have gotten a lot of feedback regarding tachs because that's one of the things they integrated into the Thunderbird's instrument cluster, which is otherwise exactly the same as the R3T. It also has a 6 speed which is another request/desire I read a lot. It seems to me that Triumph seems to have their fingers pretty close to the pulse of their customers.
You're pretty much wasting your money if you run anything over 87 octane.
