That takes me back . My dear old mum had one of them . I used to make her drop me a couple streets from school so no one would see me ! Baaroooom baaaa .
I can just see that true romantic Nat getting out his 'Gone with the Wind' DVD (or is that Beta video? ) and practising his best Rhett Butler accent for hours on end now!
I cannot vouch for his success or otherwise having never watched the film but a rakish 'Gable mo' should surely help.
Yep pale pastel pink was a strangely British stock paint car colour in the 50's and early 60's, heaps of them in Oz too at the time - revolting like all those other pastel colours.
