Fred,
that's too funny.
What'd you get for yours on craigslist?
you should have been able to get $20.00 for a used stebel,
some other old boy just got $25.00 for his..

Mine pooped it's dress so I bought one on Craigslist for $25.00. Picked it up on my way home from work. I had my horns mounted behind the Buck Rogers chrome horn thingy. I had them facing forward and they kept getting water in them. I would get the water out of the horns by blowing compressed air into them. Did it probably 10 times then they worked fine again. The last time I did it I think I damaged one of the diaphragms. Only one works now. When I mount the new (to me) horns I'll face them backwards. I don't think it will kill the sound much. I heard of people putting the entire unit under the side cover instead of just the pump like I did, and they say they are still loud as hell.

I have mine mounted like your only really got water in them bad once or twice but you make me think it might be time to think of a better spot:eek:
