I have the "OINK" standard horn and bought EL GRANDE to install (HONK!). Comes with standard relay, 30 86 87 87a 85.
Is there previous help on the forum.
Can you run both horns or is it an English/BRITISH technology challenge.

I would like to use existing button to ""honk"" the horn. I would like the NEW horns to operate off of the button also.
I have tried direct replacement plug to plug and it won't work. Long story short, I can't.
I haver new relay to hook up.

I am not beginner, but there has to be a odd hookup in the wireloom. continuity is .573 when operating the old horn.
Normal ? answered
Both Horns operate direct from 12 V
New horns have ground to frame and ground terminal available (not required)
What is the wiring to set old horn and new horns with horn button

I used to have my Stebel mounted in the stock horn position:

...but worried about it trashing my fender if the flimsy mount on the lower triple tree ever broke.

So I have since mounted my Stebel on the lower left engine guard;

Finally sorted out the horn button and had to splice into the horn line and run separate hot lead to horns.
El Grande is not your squeaky thing.
I removed the compass rose (chrome plastic cross) that was in front of the OEM horn and the 2 red horns are hung just below the horn with the included brackets with the existing holes and on line with the lower fork brace.
The horn are truck like, and can be heard. For $30 at NAPA it's a deal. If you don't like the sound, put it on your 4 wheel and liven up the neighbors! Easy monut and PIA to hook electrically.
