Spot of trouble with clutch

As it happens, me too - I wasn't aware of the dots on the lever and the shaft. Came in handy just now, replaced the clutch lever on the engine with a chrome part to match the chrome/stainless cable I also just put on. Absolutely nobody is going to notice that but me but that's fine. Throttle cables going on tomorrow after some shuteye and work.

And on a side note, Barnett makes good cables. The clutch action got considerably smoother with their cable and all the fittings are great, and now I could route it properly (as it is 3 inches over stock to work with the Rivco risers).

my dots are off by one spline, but that's just the way it ended up being after I had lost my preload when I went through what you just did..it's fine though..been that way a few years..make sure ya keep that 2-3 mm on the handle end..

Yeah mines the same mate one spline off , yep very paranoid about cable tension now a few people warned me it can lead to mechanical failure ( meaning big $$$$ )
