Speedo inop and efi and oil/temp light not extinguishing

Hi have an 05 plate Rocket , the speedo has stopped working and the efi and oil/temp warning lights stay on also the speedo doesn,t sweep when ignition is first switched on although the rev counter does and all the lights in rev counter work as normal . have checked all fuses and connection blocks under the tank all contacts look clean and ok anyone any ideas ?
 
Check the wires that connect to the bottom of the ignition switch. You may need to have headlight relays fitted to stop it happening again.

Its not the ignition switch I disconnected it and by- passed it still same , I,ll keep you posted
 
diagnostic software hook up to perform a speedo test and read any error codes would alos help. It sounds like a bad connectionsome where.
 
I changed the battery recently , have double checked connections all ok , have ordered a diagnostic checker will keep posted
 
Up-date have now carried out diagnostic check code P1500 speedo sensor comes up , nxt prob is sensor and wiring check out ok , thinking i might have a dodgy ecu ?
 
i had exactly the same problem after i took the battery out ,i think i must have taken the positive feed off first after much panic i took off the negative lead left it disconnected for about 15 mins and then refitted it (perfect faults dissapeared) phew
