So little but so helpful, a splash guard for your front fender. My radiator before was always dirty.

The short front fender probably exists more for aesthetics, but it throws a ton of dirt onto the radiator grill. After some searching, I've finally found a solution that works.

PS: There's also always a slight risk of a perfectly-sized pebble sneaking through the grill and puncturing the radiator tubes. A splash guard reduces the chances of radiator leaks as well.

Not to change the topic, but I like that big red "2.5L" badge

It's surprising that not many people around here seem to know what this bike is. I've seen a number of Rockets out and about, yet people commonly ask me what I'm riding. Over 2500 miles, maybe only two people have approached me saying, 'That's a great bike,' at least hinting they knew the model. I figure something like 95% of motorcycle riders just chalk it up to being some cr0tch rocket that looks oddly fat from their perspective, or perhaps a custom modification of a more well-known bike. I've definitely seen a number of confused looks from riders when I pull up to a traffic light; you can almost see it in their eyes – it just doesn't compute. Generally, I find the Rocket either generates no interest or simply puzzlement.

So, I thought, 'Ah, I'll help them out regarding the most important aspect of the bike with these badges.' Can't say it's helping much, though. Anyway, I'm just trying these badges out; maybe they're too vulgar... I haven't quite decided to take them off yet.

However, one of the MANY reasons I chose the Rocket is precisely because it isn't a common bike, like a RoadGlide or maybe a Pursuit. So, a certain mystique or enigma definitely appeals to me. Still, at times, I feel like the first person to buy a Tesla Truck in a small town, with people just trying to figure out what on earth they've just seen.

It is a complex bike to live with, very emotional. :)

this bike should have come with many badges saying 2.5L

I feel like I am newspaper to the bike telling people who are looking at bike that this bike is 2500cc, and after many years I am sick of being a newspaper.

can you share link for that 2.5l badge?
