Shoulder Bolts fell out!

Just put the Hagon's on today and noticed one of the shock bolts was loose on the top left shock. The bushes looked a little flogged as well.

Strange, we found out about that loose bolt on several bikes in Sweden, years back. Always top left shock...what's the odds?

Is it one weak guy at the factory responsible for just that bolt?

Hey that was quick have you taken her for a run yet, they look awesome or what

Ditto Scott et al. Wait until your shifter linkage falls off! All motorcycles experience stuff vibrating loose. In years past more so but not as much now. It's your ass to not safety check your conveyance of choice.

Went for a ride today, no more harsh bumps through the spine. May have to learn to ride with good shocks now, put the power on a bit early coming out of a corner today and it lifted the wheel and I got a bit crossed up.:D
Excellent:cool:

Hey all,

I picked my bike up out of storage and my shop guy pointed out that one of the shoulder bolts holding the radiator trim in was loose. Upon closer inspection, he noticed one of them was missing. It must have vibrated out. He found a substitute but it doesn't look very nice. I can't seem to find any kind of "fastener manifest" and I don't think such a thing exists for this bike.

Have any of you had this happen... bolts falling out? Is there a suitable replacement you can suggest? I looked in the service manual on page 12.2 at the exploded diagram for the Radiator and they are the ones labeled 3Nm.

I'd like to get a couple and get some lock-tight on there.

I have used this company to get bolts of various make and size. Stainless, Chrome, etc. Good quality.
