Hope you heal well. Surgery sure is a blast. Follow the therapy too. They know what they are doing. I had my right knee replaced 2 years ago. It was hell the first few days then the meds kicked in.....Made therapy kinda sorta a breeze. I plan on having my left one replaced next Jan.
I've been told 5 years my knees are shot...since I am now 47, I am biding my time for replacements. The trick is to keep the muscles strong for the support. ...and an occasional cortisone shot every 3-6 months doesn't hurt. Since I don't have any cartilage left, I can keep doing this until the shots don't help anymore.

I like to keep active... I don't like sitting around doing nothing. (I grew up on a dairy farm, throwing haybales and pitching calf pens out). Next weekend my wife and I are going to Vegas for a little R&R while I'm off on disability. I keep telling my wife I'll be her '*****' on her bike, but laughs at me.
