screen brackets
hi everyone, can anyone help me, I have just bought a summer screen for my rocket roadster off my friend, but it didnt come with any screen brackets to fit to the fork brackets that i already have from my fly screen i already have fitted, have tried everywhere to get some and have even rang all my triumph dealers that cant help. What im finding hard to take in as the screen still sold as full kit, but cant seem to get any individual parts from my triumph dealer, Can anyone help me I have inserted a picture and bracket on picture is mark number 2 im from the uk

Sounds like you are missing the 4 fork tube clamps ( 2 each side ) that are part of the fitting kit.. maybe he kept them to mount spotties or another screen.

I'm not sure what parts he is actually chasing... is it the chrome 'framing' that bolts onto the screen or the 4x clamps that bolt onto the fork legs ??
 
its the chrome 'framing' that bolts onto the screen its like L plate, not the four clamps, yes i may have to make a pair myself, but would prefer chrome .

why not get them cut out of polished Stainless Steel you would only need to find someone over there near you to take one off to make a outine template mark and measure the holes so they exactly line up and Bob's ya Uncle:D
 
Sorry Andy ... don't have any spare L-Plates . Like Hanso said put out a 'help' and someone nearby will assist. If not sing out and i will trace around the ones i've got and post or fax'em off to you.... You looking after those geriatic rockers :D
 
That would be great if you could email a template, where i live you dont come across alot of R3 riders, and the riders i have come across have the fly screen on, Cheers
