Sad day

Well I finally did it. I listed my 2000 ZX-12R for sale on the local Craigslist. I have been debating this for over a year now. I love this bike and I hate to see it go, but I find myself having less and less time to ride 1 bike, let alone 2. And the cost to maintain 2 bikes doesn't justify keeping it for as little as I ride it now. I have had many great memories with this bike. I have recently upgraded many things on it which I think is why I am having an even harder time wanting to sell it, but alas. It is a sad day.

Come on now, every body needs at least two bikes...

Yea, I agree. What can you even get for an 11 year old bike?

Yup, you never recover the money spent on customizing anything until you find just the right buyer. I've got around $35k in my MINI Cooper S ... it's worth right at $6k cash. And that is an offer from the owner of the tuning shop that installed a $2000 cyl head, $2000 catback and around $600 in dyno time. He just want the car to rob the engine for his car, then put a stock motor in and sell it. It's a $5000 car to a dealer in trade.

I'll never get my investment out of my bike either, but I'll never part with her. lol

But if you have to part with one, you chose right.
