Rode for the first time yesterday!

We're having a lot of rain here these last couple of days. Very uncharacteristic. I have good wet weather gear and slow down a little. Makes me realise how lucky we are. Must say it warms my heart a little to think of what you're experiencing; that feeling of unbreakable strength that comes from low down when you twist the throttle. It's at it's best when the feeling is new but you never tire of it and it's totally addictive. Here's hoping for better riding weather soon for all you guys.

It definitely does have some low end strength for sure. I do want to unrestrict the 1-3 gears though, I've already ordered up the OBD2 Cable. I'll give it a while before I do that change :) but as you said, amazing to experience for the first time. My previous bike (M109R) had some serious grunt as well, but you'd have to get way past 3500-4500 RPM to get what this bike does at 2000rpm....

Something's going on with the site tonight.

This is the only response I've been able to post in the last hour; Webmaster, please take note, and other members, please pass this along, as I don't know if this one will "take."

Thanks!

Took the ole girl out for the first time today. She started right up after sitting for a long winter. This picture is about as far east as you can get looking at the Atlantic from Cape Cod. Everything went smoothly up until a young kid coming on the exit cut over directly into my path the idiot never even looked. Anyway it felt good to be riding again kinda lifts your spirits. Two things i need to invest in this year is a louder horn and a signal shut off module. I guess i'm getting forgetful in my old age, i must have ridden twenty miles with the left blinker on. Be aware there are some real crazy drivers out there.

Picture perfect Spring day here, today. Cloudless turquoise sky, around 60 F, very light breeze and relative clean roads after a decent amount of rain last week.

Did a little bit of Spring cleaning (yard work), a little bit of cleaning and polishing of the Mistress and then I took her out for a good leg stretching.

All in all, it was a dammed fine Sunday!

Well I went for my first real ride today with my wife. She loves the bike! Guys this bike runs so smooth. I absolutely loved the low end torque. The wife says it feels light as a feather when turning and I agree. I am really impressed with how easily it turns compared to my previous bike. The brakes are so strong on the front as well.

Here are some pictures from today. This is the spot we love riding today at the lake but it's still **** frozen!!! You can actually see people in the background ice fishing

What lake is that Richochet? I live on Lake Simcoe and its frozen solid still, your first picture looks like Willow Beach? I live across the road and down a bit from this!
Be careful we use a lot of gravel up here and it is slippery!

This is very close to de la selle park where I got married to my sweet wife. This is the pier were the little convenience store is with the BBQ outside :)

The roads are looking good so far most places. Only saw salt a couple of times and a little gravel here and there.
