Anybody fitted the Rivco relocation arms for passenger floorboards when you've swapped out the standard exhaust and done away with the standard exhaust hanger? Do they fit - did you drill new holes for the location (anti-torque) pins or cut and retain the top of the standard hanger and re-use?
Yes, that's where the nut and bolt go....but when the stock exhaust hangers are removed, you loose the holes for the two small pins that stop the arms rotating under load.
You mating those correctly? My pins came installed in the arm and the back lug (bolts to the passenger peg carrier) has holes drilled to allow two positions (high/low). Or vice versa. Either way the exhaust has not interface with my set.
Hmmmm. My pins are installed in the arms also with two positions. However, my 2008 Classic only has the mating holes for those pins in the standard exhaust hanger. When you remove the hanger and exhaust to fit the Jardines....you loose the holes. I dirilled new ones adhacent to the lug in the passenger peg carrier. It was very tight for space though - the rear pin being right on the edge of the peg carrier.
And what size nuts and bolts did you replace the stock rear pegs with? I never, ever carry a passenger and I am definitely not a sport bike type who likes to lay down on the tank and hook my feet over the rear pegs. I'd like to offload the rear pegs and replace them with nuts and bolts.
Yes. I intend to post some pics of the whole instal. I'm in the aviation game and travel a fair bit. I'm in India at the moment and will get to it when i get back to Florida

New nuts and bolts are provided in the Rivco passenger floorboard kit - can't recall the sizes and i'm not with the bike right now. A bolt with length to suit your application and a chrome cap nut would look the part if you want to do away with the rear pegs.
