Hi;
After my 600 miles service (did it myself), I decided to try the different riding modes. I switched between all three, and could not tell the difference in the throttle response. It all seems to be the same. Is there anything I should be aware of? Is it disabled until the bike reaches a certain amount of miles? I could not find anything in the user manual if there are restrictions.
Thanks.

Ok, I went out on another ride this morning and tried it again. I think this is a none issue. There are differences between the different modes, but more suttle than I expected. My ohter bike is a 2020 Honda Goldwing and the differences between the sport and normal mode is huge, and I was expecting something similar. For the Rocket 3, I can use the sport mode as a daily driver, in the Goldwing I cannot, I will keep it in that mode all the time.

If you were trying to shift on the fly that could've been an issue. As I read you cannot shift modes while moving under load. That being said I keep mine in Sport at all times. I have individual mode set up with traction control off but I've only tried that once.

My issue with the riding modes is that I can't seem to tell which I'm selecting until after I've selected it.

A couple weekends ago I had to traverse a mile or two of gravel road and thought of switching into rain mode. Somehow I ended up in sport. After trying again but getting road mode, I left well enough be...

I agree it is difficult to select. Per the manual, keep toggling the Mode Button till the mode you want is centered on the display, then push the throttle forward and then press the joystick in ('enter'). I had difficulty at first, but now it seems to change if I follow the stated procedure.

sport mode all the time, just rain mode when is really pouring, basically restrict you from do any hard movements.. other modes not really enough difference. even in gravel I keep the sport mode with no problems.

The difference between sport and rain mode is like night and day . The only way you wouldn't notice it is if you ride it like a Vespa
