replacing grips

Hello, I would like to know if Kuryakyn grips would work with the factory installed heated grips? I need larger diameter grips but not sure if the heating mechanism is inside the bar and if it is can I just install new grips? Thanks

The heating element is in the grips. You would need to replace with another heated grip. Only caveat is I'm only familiar with the Triumph heated grips on the R3T. But, I suspect yours are the same.
