Reflector removal question

Does anyone know how this reflector is attached? Is it just adhesive, or are there some pins or holes?



I'd like to remove mine, but I don't want to be left with something that is unsightly.

It’s just a tough foam pad with remarkably strong adhesive. Have used a heat gun on a pair, and another I sawed thru the pad with some 15lb braided fishing line. Either way required some cleanup with a plastic scraper and goo gone. But, anyway, simple enough.
