I would like to find a good used rear wheel for my riken, anyone know a good source?

I've bought from Pinwall in the past and unless you're willing to settle for poor quality or someone else's junk, then they really aren't a good option.

I saw the one they have now, it does not seem that good and it is the wrong style anyway....i'll keep my eyes open. No hurry.

From what I have seen of used on ebay for $500 + or - I am going Bike Bandt new $800. I played it out in my head of saving $300 till the though of someone elses junk entered my mind, and it costing/lost $500 plus having to spend $800 I should have spent to start with instead of gambling over $300.

My "rule of thumb" has always been "if it costs more than 1/2 of new price, then I buy new." Someone else's opinion of "like new" or "perfect condition" rarely meets my standards.

You did the right thing in my book.

I'll take "good used" over new any day.
