I think the grip material on the 2.5 rims though is made to prevent that slippage.the guy said after three seconds it slipped

but usually you soap/lube to mount the tire therefore it needs time to evaporate i allways try to drive carefull so as not to have to brake real hard for a few days and i used to allways mark the tire so i can tell if it has slipped but have not been doing this lately. also i would give it a couple of days and gewt after it and also hit the brakes hard then check to see if the marks move.
